Giles Brings Out Our Inner Child!
Designer Giles Deacon made me feel like a kid again with his S/S 2011 collection. The colour combinations and the prints on the knitwear pieces took me back to my childhood! I guess all everybody ever wants is a bit of fun! :D

Nothing Like a Bit of Candy Kane.
I love the use of colour in this collection for Christopher Kane. This season many designers seem to have settled for White as its 'The New Black'. However, Kane brought a little splash of colour into S/S 2011 with his inspiring collection!

Alexander McQueen Memorial at St Paul's Cathedral.
Yesterday witnessed a tribute to the late Lee Alexander McQueen held during London Fashion Week. I was working at Qasimi when we all heard the devastating news of his death earlier this year. At the time it seemed as though everyone in London mourned the loss of this sensational designer.
"He showed us everything was possible; dreams could become reality. But he has left us with an even more exceptional legacy, a talent that soared like the birds of his childhood above us all." Anna Wintour.
