Lanvin for H&M on the Catwalk!

Alber Elbaz put on a personalized Catwalk show Thursday night at the Pierre Hotel in New York, just to make our hearts flutter even a little bit more! Lucky ladies Anna Dello Russo, Dree Hemingway, Pixie Geldof waltzed down the runway in his pretty creations to launch and celebrate the LANVIN for H&M collection! Now that the collection is only 3 DAYS AWAY from hitting the stores, I know we all just can't wait to get our piece of Lanvin!

Azzi & Osta's Stunning Collection!

       

              

I recently came across a brand called Azzi & Osta and just purely fell inlove. The incredibly talented design duo George Azzi and Assad Osta, who both worked under the great Elie Saab, have launched a new collection of simplicity and elegance. I love the lines in this collection, I think they're timeless. Just simple and beautifully refined. Entirely feminine and   purely sophisticated, I think each piece has something special to offer.

Emma Watson for Vogue's December Issue!

An incredible fashion story shot by my all time favourite fashion photogrpaher Mario Testino, starring Emma Watson for the December issue of British Vogue!! Ahh these pictures are sensational! Emma reminds me of Twiggy with her new look, or a bit like Edie Sedgwick. I loved all her Burberry campaigns but this is definitely a big step for her modeling career. She has such a unique quality about her I think. I'll stop blabbering here are the pictures! I'll also add a video at the end of Miss Watson chatting with Testino prior to the shoot :)

Yasmine Al Massri In Toujouri

I met Yasmine earlier this year while she was in Doha giving a 'Think, Act, Feel' workshop hosted by the Doha Film Institute. 'Think, Act, Feel' was tailored to arab women from all over the region and over 5 days I watched as Yasmine transformed the lives of these women. Teaching them everything from breathing techniques down to details in movement.

Instantly we all fell inlove with her! I can honestly say that every woman walked away from that workshop changed, stronger, better even healthier.

Time went by and Doha Tribeca Film Festival started! Yasmine was back in town showing her new movie "Miral". The week had gone by so quickly and it was already Saturday morning, which was the last day, and I was meeting Yasmine along with the girls for coffee.

So as soon as Yasmine walks in we exchange massive hugs, update each other on life and then she announces that she doesn't have a dress for tonight's red carpet! Now me being a designer I got all excited and suggested Toujouri.

Toujouri is a luxury fashion label based in Qatar, designed by Lama El-Moatassm. I interned with Toujouri while they were working on their Spring/ Summer 2011 Collection so it was really great to see Yasmine walk down the red carpet in Toujouri. I got soo excited at one point I think I yelled at her for not telling me sooner! Haha, all in all! I think she looked amazing! The teal really complimented her skin tone and the silhouette of the dress is just very elegant! And one more thing, I want to thank Aljazi Al- Nasr for these fab pictures! Keep snapping away girl!

Can't Get Enough of Lanvin?

This has got to be one of the most anticipated collaborations in the history of fashion, because we've been talking about this for months now! I thought the Jimmy choo collaboration with H&M was insane, with the lines of people queuing up from the night before just to get their hands on a pair! Well, let's just say this is going to be on a whole other level :) Mr Alber has released a look book starring the great Irina Lazareanu showcasing the pieces of this incredible collaboration with H&M.

Vogue Uk, now have the entire product range available online! And guess what ladies, Alber didn't hold back on the signature Lanvin ruffles or the floral prints! He went ALL out! this is Lanvin for H&M :)
