AF Vandevorst @ Paris Fashion Week

I haven't always been a big fan of Vandevorst, however, i really liked the fabric combinations within this collection. To me, it seemed slightly inspired by modern architecture. Colour and Silhouette are very much related to that. Theres also a twinge of drapery here and there. I think that really brought it together. All in all some fab garments!

Nothing Like a Bit of Candy Kane.

I love the use of colour in this collection for Christopher Kane. This season many designers seem to have settled for White as its 'The New Black'. However, Kane brought a little splash of colour into S/S 2011 with his inspiring collection!

Alexander McQueen Memorial at St Paul's Cathedral.

Yesterday witnessed a tribute to the late Lee Alexander McQueen held during London Fashion Week. I was working at Qasimi when we all heard the devastating news of his death earlier this year. At the time it seemed as though everyone in London mourned the loss of this sensational designer.

"He showed us everything was possible; dreams could become reality. But he has left us with an even more exceptional legacy, a talent that soared like the birds of his childhood above us all." Anna Wintour.
