Sneak Peak: Dolce & Gabbana's S/S 2011 Campaign!

The first two images of Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/ Summer 2011 Advert Campaign are out and they are hot! Its kinda their brand identity, sexy, insanely hot and just down right gorgeous models! Photographed by Steven Klein the campaign is rumored to feature Izabel Goulart, Isabeli Fontana, Alessandra Ambrosio and Maryna Linchuk.
The Men's Campaign is also shot by Klein and it includes the ruggedly handsome David Gandy, Noah Mills and Tony Ward.

Oscar de La Renta Pre Fall 2011!

What I adore about Oscar de La Renta is that his work is always vibrant! But not in a harsh way, in a way that any sophisticated, modern day woman can wear it! That's why I enjoy his collections. They are very always very wearable and comfortable! AND the man used Teal for his first look down the catwalk, that completely won me over! I think this Teal obsession of mine will never end! Good thing I'm making my Birthday dress in Teal! anyhow, here are my favourite looks from the collection:

CHANEL Byzance- pre fall 2011 collection!

Chanel's pre fall collection finally showcased today in Paris! And let me tell you! I AM IN LOVE! This is probably my favourite pre fall collection this season! This time Karl Lagerfeld looked to Byzantium for inspiration due to Coco Chanel's supreme love for Byzantine-styled jewelry. As you already know I have a thing for beads, and this whole collection is just so intricately stunning, the colours, the richness!! AHH i can't stop!! And its just the right amount aswell its not over done! what can i say the man is a genius. Ok I'll stop :) haha!

Qatar Wins 2022 World Cup Bid!

Last night, Qatar's people witnessed history being made! Im still in shock, I lost my voice due to how much I screamed out of happiness!! There I was with all my good friends, jumping up and down, watching the massive screen as FIFA announced that Qatar has won the bid for the 2022 World Cup! 
However, I couldn't help but notice how stunningly elegant, HRH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al-Misnad looked throughout the announcement! I really admire how she chose to wear Burgundy as a tribute to her own country. 

After we celebrated and partied the night away, we decided to join the rallies out on the streets of Doha! That's when we went by this vintage mini, that this guy had driven all the way from Sharjah, U.A.E. It was the cutest, little thing. 

Congratulations to Qatar and to the Middle East on this huge achievement, and even though, I'll be in my 30's by the time this actually happens, I can't wait to see what happens to Qatar between now and then!

L*Space by Californian designer Monica Wise, have just released their Spring 2011 Swimwear Collection! And now that the winter holidays are right round the corner, I know your all booking those exotic getaways! And what's on your minds? Beaches and sunshine!!!

I just love the whole mix and match aspect of all her pieces. And the tiny prints! and the tiny chains! Its all about the small details, its subtly beautiful :) 

I also really love the colour palette they've chosen for this season. Cool grey, a few floral/geo prints, right up my alley :)

Jennifer Lopez and her Little Ones for Gucci Children!

I love it when Designer brands bring out children lines! It's just the cutest thing! Jennifer Lopez and her children Max & Emme star in Gucci's Children's advertising Campaign shot by no other than, the fabulous Mert & Marcus. The collection designed for ages 0- 8, will donate 1 Million USD of profits to UNICEF's 'Schools for Africa' program. So not only is this a great collaboration, It's also for a great cause! :)

Christina Aguilera Sparkles in Swarovski!

Studded in Swarovski, the mega singer Christina Aguilera stars in Steven Antin’s new film Burlesque. All costumes designed by Michael Kaplan are rumored to carry over 250,000 Swarovksi crystals! But wait it doesn't stop there, the sets all sparkle with Swarovksi embellished curtains made with over 80,000 Swarovski, weighing an INSANE total of 1.3 tonnes!!! Nothing short of Dazzle/ Sparkle heaven, I think :D

Favourites of Menswear S/S 2011!

So due to the fact that SO many of u have requested this Menswear post! I am going to finally put it up! :) I am actually a HUGE fan of menswear, and while I was working for Qasimi, I LOVED working on menswear, I just fall inlove with the small details. It's always about the details. You can't be as experimental with a man when it comes to clothes, but you can give him a different coloured button, or a differently shaped cuff! Btw you'll also notice i have a very distinctive taste when it comes to menswear.
